Stephanie Hamill

Ayurvedic Nutritionist Specializing in Menopause, Yoga Teacher & Sound Healer

Hi, I’m Stephanie!  I’d like to help you feel better this year with Ayurveda and Yoga.  These sister sciences have helped create calm and peace in mind, body and spirit, overcome the pain caused by severe spinal issues, and manage my anxiety all through the beauty of balance.

While drawn to and curious about yoga since my childhood days in Boulder, it wasn’t until I was pregnant with my first child that I started practicing. I had walked a marathon while 20 weeks pregnant for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of my grandmother who had just passed from Multiple Myeloma. Afterward I was exhausted, miserable, and had horrible edema. It was a VHS of Pre-natal Yoga led by Shiva Rea that brought me back to life. I fell in love with the practice, not for a minute thinking that 20 years later I would become a yoga teacher myself. It was just something that gave me joy.

Through yoga, Ayurveda found me and I couldn’t imagine doing one without the other. In the span of five years I pursued certifications in Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Ayurvedic Nutrition and Coaching, Yoga for Menopause and Bone Health, Sound Healing and Shirodhara. You can see all my certifications here. I was also led to India where I dove even deeper into these life-giving practices and the landscape behind them.

I have taught Restore and Sound Yoga at Community Yoga in Loveland since 2022, have hosted several healing day retreats and Ayurvedic workshops, and taught Ayurveda modules in teacher training.  I love seeing the students’ eyes light up and senses ignite when we create their own custom spice blend together and pour freshly made ghee into jars for them to take home.

My offerings:

Events at the Poppy Seed:

  • Restorative Yoga with Sound Bath
  • Sound Baths
  • Empowered Menopause Workshops
  • Seasonal Ayurvedic Cooking
  • more to be announced!

My Poppy Seed event schedule can be found here.

Food is my love language. I read cookbooks like novels and regard recipes as choreography in the dance of life.

I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you soon!
