Sara Green, Clinical Herbalist
“I began my herbal studies in 2020 at the Equinox Center of Herbal Studies, drawn by a lifelong connection to the earth and a deep belief that nature provides what we need to be healthy and well. What started as an interest in making herbal medicine quickly grew into a calling to work directly with people and support true, lasting healing.
I completed my clinical herbal training in 2025 and am currently enrolled at the Nutrition Therapy Institute to deepen my understanding of food as medicine. My approach centers on whole-body health and optimal function, rather than addressing isolated symptoms. I believe that a holistic path takes time, allowing us to honor and gently heal the body from the inside out.
My work as an herbalist is shaped not only by formal education, but by lived experience with plants and ecosystems. I served with AmeriCorps in New York, where I taught inner-city children about wildlife and local ecosystems—introducing them to snakes, frogs, lizards, and other often-misunderstood creatures to show how every being plays an essential role in the larger system. This experience deeply informed my understanding of interconnectedness, a principle that guides my clinical work today.
Each year, I also work at House of Aromatics, handcrafting wildcrafted essential oils and hydrosols with intention and care. This work has fostered a profound relationship with the forests of Utah, where the plants themselves have been some of my greatest teachers.
Once you experience the quiet, steady magic of herbs, it’s hard to go back. I am honored to support clients through thoughtful, individualized herbal care that respects the wisdom of the body, the plants, and the time it takes to truly heal.
In time I hope to open my own clinic that is curated for the community. Providing care that supports the people around me on a sliding scale approach. I dream of having an apothecary with an attached espresso bar given my 13 years of working as a barista. It will be a place with intention that offers creative elixirs, powders and more along with traditional espresso. My mission and vision to create a welcoming warm space for the community to learn, relax and heal.”
Sara’s initial consultations are $100.
