Brita LaTona

Clinical Herbalist & Eco Therapy Practitioner

Brita LaTona is a Clinical Herbalist and Eco-therapy Practitioner in Northern Colorado. Her deep interest and passion is in Intuitive Plant Healing approaches, Ecotherapy, and Nature-Connection practices.

She studied Herbal Medicine and Nutrition at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism in Boulder, CO (now called the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism). Then she completed her Professional Herbalist certification through the East West School of Planetary Herbology in Santa Cruz, CA.​

In 2020, she completed an Ecotherapy Level 1 Certification from the Earthbody Institute.

She currently works as a Clinical Herbalist and offers one-on-one wellness consultations with people in the community at Golden Poppy Herbal Apothecary. She also works as an Instructor for community based classes and workshops.

Over the past 6 years she has taught classes on over 40 different topics in herbalism and holistic wellness, and facilitated full-day and weekend-long Wild Plant Medicine Workshops in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Brita enjoys working with clients and teaching from a holistic perspective, using plants as healing allies to aid in achieving balance on physical, spiritual, and emotional levels. Her areas of interest include: anxiety/depression, emotional wellness, stress and nervous system balance, thyroid conditions, hormone-related imbalances, and digestive issues.

In addition to being a staff herbalist, she often teaches classes at the store and sees clients regularly.

 

Brita’s initial appointments are $85 for 1.5 hrs.
